PROJECTS.
FUSER.
“Fuser” is an object created as a response to an existing object (’Waster’) within the Victoria and Albert Museum. I was inspired by the historicity of the Waster; the history of trade, ceramics (specifically Delfts Blauw) and cultures - as well as the discussion around sustainable material practices. Questioning porcelain’s importance in the 16th century, I compared it to the contemporary plastic and technology industries and as a result created an object that fused both materials and historicity together.
