PLASTIC VOICES.
In a world where use and development of the voice is decreasing because of increasing virtual communication and microplastic associated conditions, it is fundamental that voice strengthening technologies are explored. “Plastic voices” recognises the larynx as the key internal tool that gave humans the ability to dominate life on Earth, and questions what technology would emerge when speech as we know it is no longer possible.

(First project completed at Material Futures CSM)

The second part of this project - in collaboration with SONY Music Publishing - visualises ‘Plastic Voices’ by exploring dystopian video game futures where humans no longer have the ability to speak without an external device.
